Jeera Chicken
This is a simple chicken dish with very few ingredients.
Ingredients
1 lb – chicken
2 medium – onions, sliced
3 nos – green chilies, sliced
1 tsp – red chili powder
3 tbsp – jeera powder
1 tbsp – ginger garlic paste
¼ tsp – turmeric powder
juice of 2 lemons
salt to taste
Method
Marinate the chicken with the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, jeera powder and chili powder.
Fry the onions and the green chilies. Add the chicken and lemon juice.
Continue cooking for another 20 min.
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
