Making a Panini Sandwich at home is not too difficult. I love hot sandwiches especially in winters.  A hot sandwich and soup on a cold winter day is a very satisfying meal.

Ingredients

2 slices – Sourdough Bread

1 slice – cheese (your favorite variety)

2 slices – deli meat chicken

2 slices – tomatoes

1 tbsp – mayonnaise

mescaline greens

butter

Method

Heat a flat girdle until it is hot.

Meanwhile assemble the sandwich.  Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.

Once assembled place the sandwich on the girdle and press it with the bottom of another pan.

After a minute flip over the sandwich and repeat procedure.

Remove from heat and cut the sandwich at an angle.

Serve immediately.

Notes

The above is just an example of the fillings inside a sandwich. Get creative and put in your favorite fillings.

Just remember though not to make your sandwich too bulky, or the sandwich will not hold properly.

Use a dry variety of bread that does not crumble too easily.  It should be able to hold up your fillings.

Do not press the sandwich down too hard.  You do not want the fillings to ooze out or  damage the sandwich.
