I love Paratha and roti. This was an experiment which turned out pretty good.

Ingredients

Atta – 2 cups
Oil – 2 tbsp
Paneer – ¾ cup
Green chilli – 2
Water – 1 cup approx.
Salt to taste

Method

Make dough with the atta. Add a table spoon of oil while making the dough. Add water a little at a time to make sure it the dough does not get sticky. Also do not forget to add salt. Let the dough rest for at least 15 min before proceeding to make the paratha.

Put the paneer and green chillies in a chopper and mince them. Season with salt.

Make the dough into walnut sized balls.

Roll out a ball into a circle about 2 inches in diameter. Place a table spoon of the paneer mixture in the center. Fold in from all sides and cover the paneer completely. Make a ball again and roll it out into a paratha. ( about 4 inches in diameter).

Cook on a hot tava or girdle, greasing lightly on both sides with oil.

Serve hot with curry and yoghurt.
